About living grace ministry

"The purpose of Living Grace Ministry is to nurture genuine Christian discipleship through grace."

We are a ministry that strives to live out grace practically in the Ann Arbor community. In the world today, grace is often in short supply. Even in churches, we do not always reflect the radical grace of Jesus Christ that would welcome ANYONE to come and that would call us to value even the least amongst us. Living Grace Ministry is a community where we want to see true transformation so that we can build God’s kingdom, and we encourage people to do so through love, forgiveness, and grace, not through judgment or guilt.

We would love for you to be a part of our growing community of faith. Our ministry brings together different cultures and age groups, including Youth Group (grades 6-12), Campus Ministry (undergraduate), Postgrad Ministry (post-college aged young adults including grad students, early to mid-20s), Adult Group (late 20s – early 30s) and Family Group (for our more seasoned members). All are welcome! Our Children's Ministry is run in conjunction with the Korean Ministry and meets in the basement of the Mission Center Building (right next to the LGM Chapel).

Living Grace Ministry is the English-speaking ministry of the Korean United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor. We are a distinct fully-functioning ministry, but we have the support of the Korean Ministry and we also collaborate in ministry and fellowship with them. We are not all Korean, and we welcome anyone to join us for fellowship and worship! KUMC of Ann Arbor strives to bring cultures and generations together, not drive them apart.

We are Christ-centered, outreach and mission-minded, and dedicated to training and equipping disciples and leaders.
At LGM, all are welcome!

About the Church

Located on the west-side of Ann Arbor, Korean United Methodist Church of Ann Arbor has been ministering in this area since the early 1980s. We are just a short 5 minute drive from downtown Ann Arbor and the University of Michigan campus. We have a very active Korean Ministry which has Sunday Service at 11:00 a.m. The Korean Ministry meets in the Mission Center Building, adjacent to the LGM Chapel (which is pictured above). For more information about the Korean Ministry, please visit the Korean Ministry Website . Our senior pastor is Rev. Joon-Sik Yoo. KUMC of Ann Arbor is part of the Heritage District of the Michigan Conference of the United Methodist Church.
